Today I have for you a sweet-tooth's recipe that has two of my favorite ingredients: chocolate and peanut butter!

This recipe is actually on the back of Reese's peanut butter chips package. Since the packages are always changing, though, I thought I would share this recipe with
those of you who might not have seen it. The ingredients needed for this recipe are as follows:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cups baking cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/2 sticks butter (1 1/4 cup)
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 10 ounce package peanut butter morsels
The package of morsels also gives some instructions for how to make the cookies, but my Mom and I have stopped using those instructions since our easier way still tastes the same. First, you will want to pre-heat the oven to 350º F. Then these are the next steps:

Now you need to add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir them together well.

The only things left to do now are to pour the dough into a lightly buttered 9x13 pan and spread it out evenly. After that stick it in the oven for about 21 minutes. Yum!

After the cookie has cooled, it will sink in the middle slightly. Once the cookie is completely cooled, it will be easier to cut into bars of your-choice sizes. Have you ever had a peanut butter and chocolate recipe? Feel free to share it with me through Facebook or the comment section below.
Mmmmmmmm.....I want some!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite recipes!! You can't go wrong with Reese's....I mean, unless it's in the center of a hamburger....cause that does seem wrong. ;)
