Monday Munchies: Strawberry Coolwhip Pie

I have another simple recipe for you today that can be in a variety of flavors.

I have called this recipe the strawberry cool whip pie, but it can actually be any flavor you want, as long as there is a jello flavor for it. Today, I can tell you how to make the 5 ingredient pie, and also the three ingredient pie crust. For the pie:

                  Ingredients for pie

  • One 3 ounce package Gelatin (any flavor)
  • 3 cups cool whip
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • ice cubes
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
As you may have noticed, 3 of the 5 ingredients today are water, so this recipe is fairly cheap in price. To make the pie filling, do this:

When the mixture is combined, place it in the fridge for about 20 minutes. The filling will be a little thicker when you pull it back out. While the filling is in the fridge, you could make the crust. Here's what you need:
               Ingredients for crust
  • graham crackers (about 5 ounces or one sleeve), crushed
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
Now do this to make the crust:

 The crust is ready! Once the gelatin mixture is done sitting in the fridge, spoon it into the crust and spread it out evenly.

With Apologies to Robert Frost

I have a class for school called Speech. This is supposed to help me learn how to stand properly while speaking, pronounce words properly, and so on. The most recent section is on how to give meaning and feeling to a  poem when reading one out loud. My teacher, Mrs. Autrey, has been reciting poems to us as examples, and she uses a variety such as happy poems, sad poems, thoughtful and so on.
