Saturday Sweetly: Apple Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Today, I have for you a taste of the season with an Apple Sour Cream Coffee Cake.


Here is a quick view of the recipe.

The first step is to have all your ingredients at room temperature. The next step is
to, of course, preheat your oven to 325º F. Afterwards,   






The final step is to bake the cake for 40-45 minutes or until the center springs back when pressed lightly. So, we are going to eat this cake tomorrow. What autumn treats have you enjoyed this season?

    We've used this recipe several times. It was even your birthday cake one year! This recipe is certainly a keeper.

    Grampy's favorite is just plain old pumpkin pie and cool whip. I sometimes have to make him push the envelope and try something new. :)

      I like pumpkin pie pretty good, but I prefer it without coolwhip. :)

Sorry this post is a little late! I wanted this project to be done last Sunday, but I kept noticing details that could be added to make it a little better. With Apologies to Robert Frost

I have a class for school called Speech. This is supposed to help me learn how to stand properly while speaking, pronounce words properly, and so on. The most recent section is on how to give meaning and feeling to a  poem when reading one out loud. My teacher, Mrs. Autrey, has been reciting poems to us as examples, and she uses a variety such as happy poems, sad poems, thoughtful and so on. One of them that caught my attention was a funny remake of the famous poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost.   The original is one of my favorite poems, and I have always loved the other poetic works of Robert Frost.
